| Services: | I am a licensed translator specializing in natural sciences. I have translated more than 5000 pages from English to Hungarian and Hungarian to English. I also have a lot of experience on proofreading. My areas of expertise are: pharmaceutical (EMEA) documents, medicine, chemistry and chemical industry, food industry, biology, etc. I have also done a fair amount of translation in a variety of other subjects; however, I tend to avoid legal documents, because I feel that I haven't the necessary expertise in that field. I have spent 15 years living and working in the United States and Canada. Extensive experience in a life science research environment (biology, biochemistry, physiology), performing laboratory work, writing grant applications, papers, book chapters, reviewing and editing other scientists' work, giving Powerpoint-based presentations, teaching, volunteer work. Widely read, with special interests in history, the sciences, music, volunteerism, alternative medicine and quackery. I use Trados 2007 Freelance. | ||||||
