The job posting system of hungarian-translator.eu has been designed to post one-time or regular jobs for translators, interpreters and translation companies.
Except for jobs posted by the registered users of hungarian-translator.eu, all jobs submitted to the site are subject to verification by the editors before posting.
Criteria of verification:
- the quote request must be for a paid job
- the job poster must give genuine contact information
- the quote request must contain sufficient information for submitting a quote
- the quote request cannot contain an advertisement or any other notice
- the quote request cannot have objectionable contents
The translation companies registered on hungarian-translator.eu can post jobs that will be posted instantly without need for verification by the editors of the site. The safety of this feature is guaranteed by the expectable professional standard of care and market conduct of the translation companies.
The job posting can relate to a specific job (e.g. translation of a text) or to a full-time job or contracted work (e.g. search for a specialized translator by a translation office).
CV's cannot be collected through the job posting system (e.g. constant search for translators) but through the Professional Forum, where applicants can be recruited and the required qualifications posted continously.
The job poster must be aware of the possible confidential nature of the posted job. In case of a confidentiality obligation, it might be preferable to agree on the details of the job directly with the translator rather than posting it on the site.
The job poster is required to pay the fee of the translator completing the translation service in accordance with the agreement between them. In case of the unjustified refusal to pay the fee, the editors of the site can ban the job poster from posting further jobs on hungarian-translator.eu.
The job poster can cancel the job before the original application deadline if it has become void or close the application process if a translator has been chosen for the job.
The job poster is not obliged to but, according to the rules of business ethics and practice, is expected to reply to all applying translators.
